You have to realize that after Owl's Head and Bromont, St-Bruno is but a bump in the snow. What's even worst is that while I used to at least have fun on the hills mastering my skills, the others are starting to find it boring.

Suzanne is going on a super-detox diet for the next two weeks so she took advantage of having a poutine for lunch. We all had a very greasy lunch, something that's totally out of ordinary for us. But hey, it doesn't hurt too much to each a poutine or a hot-dog once or twice a year, as long as it is once or twice a year.

There are two very particular moments of this day I will remember for a long time. The first is seeing Mathieu going down "the wall", a relatively steep hill near the second chairlift he has always been afraid of taking. Not only was he confident in his down, we could easily see his personal sense of accomplishment when he made it at the bottom, lifting his arms in the air in victory. We were very proud of him too. It was Suzanne's first time down that hill too, and she found it relatively easy compared to what she faced at Owl's Head. That black diamond is conquered.

The second moment was when Sabrina yelled "I've mastered the mountain" after she had done the double-black-diamond. Now granted a double black diamond at St-Bruno is easier then an intermediate at Owl's Head but still. She still can claim she's easily skied down a double-black-diamond. After she did it the entire family tried it, without any trouble whatsoever.

Just don't get cocky!

Next mountains: Sutton and Tremblant.

by the way (BTW). Before and after today's haircut (thx Suzanne)...

Have a nice evening...
