How to train your dragon; Aquarium; Heitz Cellar Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2006

What an incredible day we had today. Suzanne was able to get tickets to "How to train your dragon" at the Bell Centre from livingsocial.

The kids and I went to have what I would consider to be one of the best breakfast I have ever had at Bocacinos.

 Next it was time for the show. Here are a few pictures of the kids at the show:

When we came back home we all went to safari to get our first ever pets. The kids got six fish to begin: 3 platy red top moon and 3 golden neon barb.

Platy Red Top Moon (Mickey Mouse Fish -- look at Mickey on the tail)

It's such a fascinating thing to observe the interaction of the two group of fish in the tank. The platy stay mostly up, while the barb stays at the bottom. During the day the platy tends to be the most aggressive one, but that's reverse at night. Really cool to watch.

We completed the day with a good swim in the pool. Suzanne and I were able to spend some time with a good wine.

What a great Sunday; Chateau Montremblant; Oven Incident

Though the wake up was quite brutal ( I fell asleep in front of the TV and got woken up by Mathieu yelling "papa, papa, quick, quick" -- he had a big bogger on his finger ), the rest was fantastic.

You know sometimes you just do a little goof that brings in tons of hard work, like putting a freshly bought plastic bag of potatoes on an oven you didn't know was still hot because it was used to make soup a few minutes ago. Ah, melted plastic embedded in a ceramic stove top.

A little surprise for supper. $26 of pure goodness. As you know, happiness is a good home, a loving family, a great computer and good wine ( plus an X5 2012).

Note de dégustation

Robe de teinte rubis de bonne intensité. Nez s’ouvrant sur de subtiles notes animales, florales et fruitées. À cela s'ajoutent des arômes dominants de fruits noirs mûrs, d'épices, de vanille, de fumée et de graphite. Ce rouge exprime une bonne acidité et est muni de tannins serrés. En rétro olfaction, il laisse percevoir des flaveurs de bois, d'épices, de torréfaction, de vanille et de fruits noirs. Sa bouche souple se termine dans une finale persistante.

We had a great day. The kids played outside a lot. They were so tired they were asleep quickly (though Mathieu's allergies were troubling him). Suzanne and I were able to spend some quality time together, before the crazy week starts again.

I'll see it when we get it. So as an update, here's what we finally get when it begins:

Just think, a few hours beforehand I could actually see grass on the ground. This is so welcome, as we like to ski a lot.

We also do other sports. Today we still have to deal with Sabrina's karate, and the swimming lessons:

This Friday is a nice evening. We're even surprised when Suzanne comes home at reasonable hour. All in all a full, yet great day.
