Some Serious Tubing

This Saturday we went out to do some serious tubing at the Glissades des Pays d'en Haut with the Prahacs-Roy family. It's the second time we go there in as many years and we had a great time. Except for the Vortex360.  Sabrina stayed home to study.

Afterwards, we all went to Scores in Boucherville (after picking up Sabrina). It was almost a Tendres de Poulet night.

I know it's very fuzzy, but it's just to show that Sabrina really was there.

We had our first snow while I was cooking supper tonight. It was a small snowstorm here, for a good fifteen minutes.

We went to Sabrina's Parent-Teacher today at her school. We only got great comments. Something the teacher said was: "When I take a picture of the class, she's always amongst the best. I'm very happy to have her as a student."

Now in our school, the parent teacher reunions coincide with the Scholastic Book Fair. So the tally was: two princess chapter books in English for Sabrina (one she's halfway done, and they are pretty hefty, half the first Harry Potter); two Lego books for Mathieu, one Ninjago, one Star Wars; three books for Mathieu's class, including Dr Seuss' There's no place like space, a favourite here, and five French books for Sabrina's class. Expensive evening.

Now an interesting tidbit. I worked for and then at this little company called Humeng between 1995 and 2005. Apart from Ron and Guylaine there were two other regulars who kinda were there during my tenure, Nicole and Patrice. Well guess what, Sabrina's prof is Patrice's brother.
