Birthday

Today was a great day! Really! After bringing Mathieu to school I went to work at the office (Starbucks) where I got a free birthday coffee. Came back home, worked. Sabrina video called me from school and she and her friends wished me a happy birthday, I have to admit I was very touched.

Around 2:00 I went to pick up Mathieu (2:30) and then Sabrina (3:15). Took care of dinner, cleaned up, learned to play "Tiny Epic Kingdoms" with Sabi and Mathieu. Not only was it really fun, but for once I actually won.



After everyone was in bed, I read and was touched by all the happy birthdays I got through Facebook. I took the time to answer every one of them. I was particularly touched by Max's message. It was a great day.

Sabrina's birthday

Today we celebrated Sabrina's 11th birthday. It's amazing how much she's grown. I remember her as my little baby. She's now a full fashionista, book eater, sport lover, computer geek girl that I love so much. Happy birthday love.

Ski Day and Zach's Name Day

We're back on the slopes today, and I can't tell you how much good it does us. It rained a lot this week and the runs are not as pleasant as last week. That sais we manage to have a great time. Suzanne even does her first black diamond (intentionally) in Bromont. Considering that it's mostly what Mathieu and I do when we're on our own... We've also gone very often to the snow park. I fear my son is going to complete the greying process of my head very quickly.

Then we went to mom's for a few hours, and to Sophie's to celebrate Zach's birthday. Let it be known that today the kids discover Minecraft. After a good dinner (pizza), a great cake and the gifts, we went outside to spend some time around a campfire. Real nice.

Happy Birthday Chris

We were supposed to go skiing today but Suzanne preferred getting some work done. That said we still drove to Knowlton to celebrate Chris's birthday at Nick&Amy's home. We have a great time and the food was absolutely excellent. We were all there, along with Tim and Diane, and Gail and David. It was the best of times.

Happy birthday Chris. It's good to have you in our family.

Today is my big brother's birthday. He would have been 55 I believe, had I not lost him when I was three. I remember him. Snippets, really but I do. He loved me, and I loved him. I still do. Happy birthday Alex.

It's also Paula's birthday, Max's mom. I don't see her often anymore and we talk two or three times a year. She's still a cool person, and is family. Have a happy one, Paula.

After a series of crazy runs to get lots of stuff, both Mathieu and Sabrina went to Olivia's birthday party. Olivia is Megan's little sister, and Megan is Sabrina's school friend since kindergarten. She and Kiara are Sabrina's best friend. Annick and Thierry are good friends.

And then we went to the BIG party. Kim's party. I cannot express how much fun I had. How much fun we all had. As far as I'm concerned, Pascal's culinary capabilities far outweigh Jame's. The meal was simply amazing. Even had a few wows. We were four families with two billion kids who mixed well together. Kim and Pascal, Julie and Nico, Julie and Jean-Benoit, Suzanne and I, fantastic time. Thanks so much everyone. We made it home at 10:49pm. I never thought it was that late.

Multiple Birthdays

Sunday was quite a special day. We picked up Max in NDG and went to meet the family at Freli Campground. There was no clowning around on this trip...

Once we reached the point where the GPS does not work, we were reunited with family and friends. The cousins played constantly together and apart from a few tiffs had a great time. Mathieu was so happy about the gift he got from Zach (cannot pronounce here).

We were celebrating three birthdays... Suzanne, Nick and Suzanne. Here they can be seen blowing the candles...

Last night we all fell asleep at the same time. 8:00pm. Just to say we have a very busy day today. The kids and I go to Indigo to get the Hunger Games trilogy:
