Merry Christmas everyone. It's an upside down world as the kids woke up late on this snowy Christmas day, while previously aware that Santa would come. This is what they were met with this morning.

This is what the outside looks like the morning. Yeah! Snow! Finally!

Let's go to the best part of Christmas morning... Opening the gifts! First we took care of Santa's gifts, that magically appeared during the night while everyone was sleeping.

Yes we still have colds in our family. Next come a few other openings...

There's also the Christmas socks...

But Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without our precious gifts...

When it comes to presents, here is what Mathieu and Sabrina did for us at school. Mathieu made us a sock with things in it, and Sabrina built us a calendar for 2012

That calendar is amazing. On each page she built an amazing picture or montage that she must have spent a long time working on. Here are some examples...

By the way, here's my amazing iPod Nano Watch. It's really cool and Suzanne now wants one (Hmmm, May 18th?).

What a day, and it's only 8:25am... Time for our morning exercise...

Then it's my turn

Suzanne was talking to her brother in B.C. when Louis came on the phone. Mathieu immediately asked to speak to him.

"Louis, next time... hi... Next time I go to you place we'll try not to fight."

They proceeded to talk about lego and what Mathieu got.

"Bye Louis, bye"

We are invited at Sophie's place for Christmas supper. Driving back and forth will be hell because of the road conditions and the traffic, but Suzanne's car is a charm to drive in snow, being oblivious to bad weather. It can't do anything about the horrible traffic, however.

Both Sabrina and Mathieu have a great time over there, playing with their cousins Zach and Alex. Mathieu is particular fond of Zach, both having a great time together. Here are a few pictures of the evening...

We had such a great time at Sophie's place. Thanks so much to Sophie and Chris, Amy and Nick and mom, of course, for a great evening. The russian dolls are so beautiful they will become another heirloom.

wow, je suis vraiment étonné par le calendrier de Sabrina, elle a toujours cette perspective qui m'épate chose que je n'ai jamais pu acquérir même si je suis allé aux Beaux-Arts.
