It's panic time. All the good work we did yesterday to leave early came to a crashing failure when the alarm failed to ring. Damn you technology, when you can assign a day the alarm must ring. So don't expect it to ring if it's set to do so on the week days, not the weekend.

We did good time and at Tremblant around 9:30am. I love Tremblant, I wish they would do something like that at Sutton. Our condo:

There were two condos, three rooms each. We were in the upstairs room with our own bathroom which ended up being great with kids.

The race started at noon. Now, the first run skiers must run from the bottom of the hill to the top, where the gondola is. It's a good run. Heck, it's a good walk.That's why we need a lift to go from the bottom of the village to the top.

The first runners must go up the hill running.

My first run was at 2:00pm. There was not enough snow to do the full mountain, so we ran only half. Let me put it this way: my times were great, and I had a fantastic time.

At night our little family went to visit the activities. There's a lot happening there. Near the slopes there's a stage with live rock music. In the upper town square another stage, this one with dance music. Sabrina had a great time dancing.

The fun part was that at 6:00pm the full mountain was ready and the skiers were the full run. Really cool. Just waiting to do it.

We all went to bed around 9:00pm (Mathieu, Sabrina and I). I wanted to get some rest before my 4:00am run. Unfortunately, I didn't sleep much.
