We have a pool again

You know the feeling when you come back from vacation and the pool is green because the motor's blown. After hunting the entire South Shore for the right capacitor, changing the broken piece in the motor and a good long cleanup, it's blue again...

The culprit. For some reason it was really hard to find.

$10 instead of $250 for a new motor. Not bad.

Swim Eval, Great Wines

This Friday was evaluation day at the swimming course. The kids hopefully did well. Here you can see Sabrina converse with Ben, and Mathieu having a conversation with Kate.

Here are two wines I absolutely like for their taste. A bit pricey, the Cab is $40 and the Pinot $60, but their taste is just out of this world...

Finally

Mathieu is now a fish. There were times when I didn't think he'd be able to put his head under water. Starting yesterday, he now swims between my legs, retrieves objects from the bottom and dives better then his sister (who is a real fish). It's such a nice Grand Prix Sunday.

I'm expecting the jets to pass over our house incessantly.

Goosebumps; 3D

Sabrina is reading Goosebumps. I can't wait to see how fun it's going to be to put her to bed tonight. "It's not even scary" she claims. She's 20% in the book, The Dead House. Yes, right.

Here are Emily and Mathieu after pre-K

Today Mathieu and I went to Ikea to get a bookcase and an umbrella for our table outside. Guess what he found at the restaurant ?

I had to put a kid seat in the front on the way back because of the size of the boxes. Mathieu sat in front on the way to get Sabrina, and Sabrina on the way home.

While Mathieu liked it, Sabrina was just, wow, I feel like I'm in a 3D world.

We ended the day in the pool :)

Happy Friday Easter

I woke up late this morning, around 7:00am. It felt good to sleep in but I have to make sure we don't get into that bad habit. Sabrina was up, and of course she was reading.

Congratulations to Mathieu and Sabrina for all their hard work in swimming class.
