Directly from France
This Bordeaux comes travelled with us from France (well it did go to China). Tonight was a good reason to open it, and we did.

Another fun day at ski Bromont
Today we all went skiing. I got to ski with Suzanne while the kids were at their lessons and let me say it was really nice. We're starting to know this mountain a lot.

Wine Dinner with Friends
Tonight, Pascal, J-F (Pascal's friend) and I had supper at the Quartier General. The idea was to try some very good wine. I really liked J-F, he's a great guy. Makes me think of Owen Wilson. A great guy.

Ski Day; Dinner with Friends
Today we went skiing while Suzanne stayed home working at her new job. We arrived early enough for us to do a few runs before the kids began their ski lessons.
I skied a bit during the lessons but I was cold. I decided to have a beer at the ski restaurant while waiting for the lessons to finish.
We were invited for dinner at Julie and Charles's place at night. They are Emily's parents, Mathieu's "girlfriend". We had a great time, and were introduced to a super good wine that's relatively cheap. You can see that Mathieu and Emily spent a lot of time together.
Now this is good wine, for a bit more then $25.

Swim Eval, Great Wines
This Friday was evaluation day at the swimming course. The kids hopefully did well. Here you can see Sabrina converse with Ben, and Mathieu having a conversation with Kate.
Here are two wines I absolutely like for their taste. A bit pricey, the Cab is $40 and the Pinot $60, but their taste is just out of this world...

How to train your dragon; Aquarium; Heitz Cellar Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2006
What an incredible day we had today. Suzanne was able to get tickets to "How to train your dragon" at the Bell Centre from livingsocial.
The kids and I went to have what I would consider to be one of the best breakfast I have ever had at Bocacinos.
Next it was time for the show. Here are a few pictures of the kids at the show:
Here's the review made by a friend of Suzanne's on FB. Quickly though, it was simply Wow!
When we came back home we all went to safari to get our first ever pets. The kids got six fish to begin: 3 platy red top moon and 3 golden neon barb.
It's such a fascinating thing to observe the interaction of the two group of fish in the tank. The platy stay mostly up, while the barb stays at the bottom. During the day the platy tends to be the most aggressive one, but that's reverse at night. Really cool to watch.
We completed the day with a good swim in the pool. Suzanne and I were able to spend some time with a good wine.

Super hot...
Yet when we're in the pool (at 84 celcius) it's cold. In fact, it's so fresh Sabrina hesitates coming in. But we do a lot of pool anyway. And some more wine :) We're interrupted by some well deserved rain around 4:00pm.
