No snow yesterday but a mini storm today

There was no snow here yesterday, lots of rain and wind but that's it. Today however is another story. Lots of wind, a bit of snow. Not enough to matter too much, but much better then rain. And the wind, with 50km/h gusts, made driving a bit dangerous.

I got up building Mathieu's Lego toy he got from Frank, Mel and family last night. He actually slept with the box. The kids played a lot together today. Some WII, some Lego Star Wars III, but also lots of Lego and lots of reading.

Even if she didn't get to read that much, perhaps an hour, Sabrina was at page 139 at lights out. This means that she loves the book. You can see Mathieu playing with Lego at the table. In the afternoon, the kids and Suzanne went to Ceramic Café-Studio. Mathieu painted a dragon, Sabrina a cup and Suzanne a tree ornament (I believe). We should get it all soon.

We had fun at supper, eating the remnants of the excellent osso-buco we had last night with our great guests. The kids weren't crazy with the meat, but they liked the rest. Thank you Ricardo.

We had a normal bed time which is great. Suzanne and I were able to spend some quality time together with the kids asleep. Going to bed I read about compilers (Thx mom).

BTW the great thing about having guests over is that the house is picked up :)
