Yikes! I woke up at 6:51am this morning, a full 51 minutes behind schedule. In the next 39 minutes I will have to feed the kids, prep their clothes, make Saby's lunch, make sure her bag is ready, take a quick shower and prep the car for the garage, as Mathieu and I are going there afterwards to get a light changed. With all of that we still manage to bring Sabrina to school a minute before the bell rings.
Mathieu and I bring the Escape to the garage and go have breakfast in a restaurant beside the garage while waiting for the car. I didn't really want to go but that garage has a waiting room with four chairs in it and there were about fifteen adults waiting. With a kid, that's just impossible. I'm definitely not a garage person. At least at Mercedes we're treated like customers... Anyway, service was good even if the environment ain't.
I was able to transfer, after some work, the beginning of the game I wrote with the kids yesterday to my iPad. It is really cool to be able to see it running the same way as it is on the computer. Really cool.
The camera is gone. I sent it to Canon for reparation. Hopefully it will get back to us in a few weeks.
We got some A/V Christmas cards made for Mathieu and Sabrina where Santa talks to them directly and it was a real success. And right on time too, as my kids have increasingly been discussing whether Santa exists or not. Now my friend Mike would love to tell them quickly that Santa doesn't exists, but I believe that we must live in whatever magic we can when we are kids. We are faced with the brutality of life soon enough. So here are two pictures of both my kids looking at their A/V cards.
Sabrina smiling when Santa talks about her. |
Mathieu waving at Santa... That might be a bit much |
I love this picture.
