It's finally snowing! It's a PED day today and I'm considering taking the kids skiing, once again. I just finally completed the missing blogs so all is well at this level.

A fascinating study in weather patterns. Mom taking care of a meteorological station is accumulating an amazing set of temperature data that I love to look at. Examine the following charts, showing the averages for both 2011 and 2010

2011

2010
It's interesting to see that it was warmer in 2011 then it was in 2010. I'd love to see these charts for the past 30 years, as collected by mom. Please note that I am neither a proponent for global warming or not. I prefer to look at facts, and examining the trend for one region, and one region only is not good enough to conclude anything, especially with two samples.

By the way, just to show that skiing is in our blood, here's a picture of my big brother BEFORE I was even born...

I took this picture from my mom's blog. Ski fast big brother, ski fast.
