Mathieu: "Does quicksand ever end? Do we sink forever?"

Nevertheless, Suzanne goes to work in the morning and I do little things here and there. I feel a bit tired today. This is probably due to the fact that I fell asleep around midnight and woke up 10 minutes after because Sabrina was hungry, only to realize it actually was 6:00am. Sleeping six hours in ten minutes is definitely not refreshing.

When Suzanne comes home, the tree goes out. The poor thing was so dry it shed pine needles all over the place. And when I say all over, I mean it. We will find pine needles in weird places like drawers, between books pages, the salt shaker... (ok, I'm kidding a bit, but not much). Just picking up all these needles prompts a full house cleanup that will last way into Sunday night.

To get Mathieu off her back so that she can jump, she promises to play with him ALL day tomorrow, a promise she will soon regret.

The kids go to bed relatively early and Suzanne and I spend some quality time together. Unfortunately, the kids will wake up twice during the night, Mathieu around 1:00am because he peed in bed (doesn't happen very often now) and Sabrina around 4:00am because she's cold. It's a bit rough tonight.
