Winter fun at the park

It's carnival time at St-Mary's and the kids are going to the park today to do some sliding. Here are some pictures...

Winter Storm Warning

Issued at 4:35 AM EST Wednesday 29 February 2012

Summary

A total of 15 to 20 centimetres and blowing snow reducing the visibilities to nearly zero locally are expected over these areas beginning late this evening.

Details

A Colorado low pressure system will slide south of the province Thursday. The snow associated with it will reach Extreme Southern Quebec late this evening and will persist Thursday. Significant amounts of snow are expected over the upper St. Lawrence areas. Moreover, the strong northeasterly winds associated with this system will strongly reduce visibilities in blowing snow over these areas tonight and Thursday. Please refer to regional public forecasts for details pertaining to each region.

I love snow storms (as long as I don't really need to go somewhere). I find we haven't been blessed with many in the past few years...
