It's so beautiful out there today. The birds are chipping, the sun is kinda shinning and the windows are opened. It feels so good, even our trees are feeling good.
Suzanne is at work and I'm doing what I usually do on Fridays unless I'm at the garage or on the hills: cleaning:
At 8:30am I'd already done two runs. I want to get as much done before Suzanne makes it home. It's not fair for her if she has to work on Saturdays, and then have to clean when she comes home (update: she cleaned all the floors when she got home). Now we had an issue with the playroom:
Somehow, all the toys were out, and more. Toys are like milk, a little on the ground seem like an impossible task for two kids to clean...
But they did. Sabrina was a trooper, Mathieu needed some coaxing, but it got done.
They look happy don't they? Job well done. Time for supper (Papa's homemade pizza).
Later on our neighbour's daughter came to take care of the kids because Suzanne was taking me to a romantic supper for my birthday that turned out to be the ...
MOST AMAZING SURPRISED BIRTHDAY PARTY EVER!!!
When we arrived at Gibby's, my best friends were sitting at a big table. I was really amazed because I was not expecting it at all. Suzanne pulled off a rabbit from her magic hat and even got Gen and Mike from Ottawa. Thanks so much for Gen, Kim, Natalie, Melanie, Suzanne, Dan, François, Mike and Pascal for your great company tonight, and your awesome friendship over the years. It was very touching.
And perhaps the most touching of all was when Max walked in. That was just wow. Here are a few pictures:
