Still sick. It's been a year since Jacques passed away. I've decided to actually be sick though. It's a PED day and Sabrina has no school. Mathieu could go to the Baobab but I don't believe in sending your kids to daycare if you don't really have to (i.e. work, professional engagement). In fact, the only reason Mathieu is at the Baobab this semester (Tue and Thu afternoon) was to make sure he stayed in a French environment to improve is language skills. Pre-K is half French, half-English. He won't need to go to the Baobab in the winter.
Kim called to invite us to go to the Cache A L'Eau. The kids have a great time in there, with Ben and Kate and Chloe. Kim and I spend some time talking about our flu (she's has it too). Before we leave a school educator yell a Mathieu because he's going up a slide. He doesn't take it well. I leave with the kids and we go to McDonalds. This is the 3td time for Sabrina, and 4th for Mathieu. They're not that crazy about the food but spend a lot of time in the tubes. Mathieu finally gets his smile back.
Suzanne's Aunts Carol, Joyce and Peter come over to bring the treadmill. Thanks so much guys. They leave with a few things, emptying the garage. Double whammy.
I finish the book "Steve Jobs" while lying sick on the couch. Honestly, I understand and share his frustration. As opposed to me he just didn't mask his.
