Let it be remembered that today we cleaned the pit. Or a good part of it. There's (was) lots of stuff in there and we purged a lot. Still a good 50% left to do but it's getting better.

For some reason the wake up was really painful. Right away I started doing things like emptying dishwasher, folding latest load, etc. As soon as Sue got off the treadmill and out of the shower we headed downstairs in the pit ( 6" area under our living room ) where we store everything and I mean everything. I usually clean it up by moving boxes and all but this time we've decided to purge.

So let the purge begin.

it means going through all the boxes and getting rid of ALL the stuff we don't consider ever needing. Now some of that stuff is old. Real old. I found an element table chart from my days in high school (1977?). A lot of stuff went out the door. I'm going back to zen.

One great thing. I found my beloved calculator, my HP 42s. I thought it had disappeared.

I did a lot of good stuff with this puppy. I really loved it.

BTW You know what I like the most about the weekends? Cooking something with Suzanne, a glass of wine in hand, and then the four of us having supper at the table. That is my favourite family time.
