I could stay in bed. It's 6:22am. I do wake up everyday at 6:00am but today, I could stay in bed. Today Sabrina is going to school. Mathieu and I are going to visit Mom in Brome.
We had a great time. After breakfast at the Cafe Floral we went to spend some time with Nick and Amy. At mom's house I showed her the new Blogger interface (Le brogue a Pierro) and did a virus scan.
Weird
Yesterday while setting the table I started singing "Sounds of Silence" from Simon and Garfunkel. I hadn't heard or thought of that song in years, but it just came to me. Well guess what, it started playing in the restaurant this morning.
It's just one of those things. You could argue that I did not sing it last night, that it's just a false memory. I'm sure if you ask Sabrina or Mathieu they could tell you I did. It's just plain true.
You know when they say that if bird poos on you it's luck? Well yesterday, going to Brome, we passed under at least 200 flights of ducks. One of them pooed on the car. Imagine this: realize that duck poo is as big as a dog's... On the highway... high speed... on the windshield... I should be a millionaire.
The afternoon was a bit hectic. Suzanne is mentoring someone at Concordia and did not make it before 9:45pm where after we looked at her application for Harvard. With the kids I had to go do groceries, put gas in the car, homework, supper, bath and dodo in the span of a few hours. I still cough too much to read stories to Mathieu so Sabrina helps.
Last night I did work a lot after the kids were in bed. My onehappykid.com is starting to take shape. I have a meeting tomorrow and I got to get ready for that.
Sabrina coughed all night. Last time I looked at the clock it was a bit before 3:00am. Ah sleep, a dream... a dream...
