I fought with the toilet... Tornado warning

... and lost.

For the past couple of weeks the toilet upstairs has been leaking. It happens once in a while when I believe (and I could be wrong) the city changes the pressure in the water system. So valiant me go in there with a screwdriver and adjust two screws so that the ball is at the right height. It's usually a one shot job, but I've been trying to adjust these two screws for two weeks now, and to no avail. Last night I tried to bend the rod a bit and it broke. The once in a while whirly sound or trickle has become a constant deluge. So I had to turn the toilet off. I'm going to install one of those no balls system in there, they work much better.

We just had a thunderstorm and now we're getting tornado warnings...
