STILL GOING ON -- I'm a participant at the 24h de Tremblant
I would like to kindly solicit you, my gentle reader, to find it in your heart to give a few dollars to help children in need. I have used the emergency room a few time with Sabrina, Max and Mathieu, and can attest that there's nothing worst then a kid in the hospital. Therefore I will be skiing with the Fuller-Landau team at Mont Tremblant for the 24h. Here's the link:
THANK YOU SO MUCH TO SOPHIE, PIERRO AND THE CLARK FAMILY FOR YOUR CONTRIBUTION TO THE 24h de TREMBLANT. I WILL MAKE SURE TO HAVE SOME PICTURES BY NEXT WEEK.

Skiing is the only sports that comes naturally to me, and that's because of my mom. Because of her, my siblings and I found ourselves on the slopes from the age of 6 until sometimes about 16. And we were not rich, at all. I love skiing. So it's no wonder that I'm excited about the 24h de Tremblant. I'm really glad Suzanne taught of me when she was looking for a eight participant.
Let me see: Free ticket; ski as fast as I can without going into a race position; a mountain I've always wanted to try... Fantastic. I only have to ski 3 hours but would happily do more.
In fact I'm going to take the kids out on the mountain when I'm not running. It will be their first time out of St-Bruno. Very excited for the coming weekend.
Us on top of Mont-Tremblant in 2009. See the ski hill down there? |
This morning I brought Sabrina to school, with Mathieu and Emily. BTW: a c250, 3 kids, 3 school bags, 1 piano --> tight. What was I thinking? I love Suzanne's little sporty car but I also like my truck, even if it's a Ford.
My camera is fixed!!! I had to order a new battery pack for my camera, the first one being dead after only a few recharges. Over the past few months I've realized that I need that camera. Well it's now all good.
It's started out of the blue. This weekend one Sabrina got afraid and called me in the middle of the night. I ended up falling asleep beside her (after scratching her back, of course). Sometimes in my sleep I heard a lot of moving around. When I woke up, relatively late. Mathieu's bed was made. Just like that he's decided he wants to make his bed every morning. We didn't ask him. Honestly, I kindda rarely make their bed anyway. But he's decided otherwise. And he's got Sabrina in on it. So now, this is what we get every morning:
Yes it's not perfect. But I don't have to hound anyone about it. I'm starting to think my kids think I'm too messy.

Merci, je suis contente que vous appréciez, c'était important pour moi, je voulais vous donner ce que j'avais reçu étant enfant.
