"I'm a man"

Ever since they were born I have been telling the kids that there is no difference between white and black, Christian or Muslim, man or woman. We're all the same, we're born the same and we all die. There's nothing a man can do a woman can't. I did tell them that I do differentiate people though, that there are the good people, the ones who work hard to make this world and its population better, and there's the bad people, the ones who want to destroy it.

I didn't tell them about my intellectual snob problem but that's my issue.

Yesterday Mathieu told me he was going to wear a pink shirt today. He told me that a girl in class said that boys can't wear pink and replied to her that yes, everything a girl can do, a boy can, that we're all the same. So she dared him to wear something pink, which is doing right now.

"Aren't you afraid the other kids are going to laugh at you?" I asked.

"I'm a man, I can take it"
