We had another great day. Everyone went for a walk in Thelma's backyard (it goes for a mile back, and it's 200 feet wide). I stayed home and worked a bit. As you can see, they had to gear up because the black flies and the mosquitoes are out in force. We all have been bitten a few dozen times.
Next, Mathieu and "Grandpa" spent some time together. Thelma has this old typewriter that is just pure beauty. If it ever goes into a garage sale, I have first dibs.
The four of us went to the Paspébiac beach where they have a great play park. There's a place that sells peanut free ice cream so once again we took advantage of it. At the park Mathieu aced the monkey bars..
Every time we go to Thelma's we have to have dinner at two places. One is a seafood restaurant, one of the best in the Gaspé according to Sue, the other at a cantina. We all had our fill of hotdogs and pogos and poutines and fries and soft-drinks, enough to last us another year.
Afterwards we took a walk on the New Carlisle Boardwalk. It was all beauty as the sun set, and the seagulls were feasting on a school of fish. Really beautiful.
