Pete's Beat's and some snow, finally

That's the name of the restaurant Mathieu built on his island. Sabrina liked it so much she offered him to build one on hers. He agreed, but would only work on it after his skyscraper was completed.

The kids are playing Minecraft. It's one of the few times they play a video game I totally approve of. Instead of killing and destruction, Minecraft is all about building worlds and it looks really fun. There is a little bit of violence but it's very tame. The game aligns very much more with my values as a parent (an no I don't let my kids play violent video games, like realistic killing games). Mathieu would like to play some but I'm going to follow the ratings on this one and wait 'till he passes elementary, at the very least. Of course sometimes we say things...

Minecraft is a sandbox indie game originally created by Swedish programmer Markus "Notch" Persson and later developed and published by Mojang. It was publicly released for the PC on May 17, 2009, as a developmental alphaversion and, after gradual updates, was published as a full release version on November 18, 2011. A version for Androidwas released a month earlier on October 7, and an iOS version was released on November 17, 2011. On May 9, 2012, the game was released on Xbox 360 as an Xbox Live Arcade game, co-developed by 4J Studios. All versions ofMinecraft receive periodic updates.
