When I talk to my kids, words come out and have absolutely no effects, demonstrating that I have not attain a capacity for communication.
All they need to do is come to us, grunt, and we understand exactly what they need and we then do what they want. Their higher form of communication allows them to communicate with us mentally, using odd noises and grunts to capture our attention.
Therefore they are using advanced forms of communication with their higher intellect.
Unfortunately for them, they have to figure out how to communicate with us at lower level so that they may understand us, so they learn to speak our language, and with practice, lose all forms of advanced intelligence and become us.
I may have an IQ of 138, yet I am saddened by the fact that it was way higher when I was a child. What a bummer.
