Beautiful Saturday

but cold... Brrrhhh!

We spent a lot of time outside doing stuff around the house and it felt good, even if it was a bit cold. Tonight, we had the kids babysat and the both of us went to have dinner at Tamales, in St-Lambert.

Oh so good. Afterwards we went to see The Hunger Games. It was such a good movie, followed the book really well. Very enjoyable.

Happy Birthday mom!

After dropping Sabrina at school, Mathieu and I went to have coffee at mom's place in Brome. We had a great time. I wanted to take a picture but I forgot...



When we came back Mathieu and I stopped at McDonalds in Bromont. In his Happy Meal he got a Green Lantern mask (more like glasses). Let's note here that his hamburger disappeared in about 38.5 seconds. We don't take our kids to fast food places enough.

We came back and it was time to go get Sabrina at school, right after her karate.

A short stint at home, then it's time for the swimming courses. Today was evaluation day. I was impressed by Sabrina's technique and Mathieu's pleasure of being in the water.

It was a very active day. Directly from the pool we went to Kim and Pascal's place for a nice supper offered to give a bit of moral support to Suzanne on these hard days. We had a great time. The wine was excellent. Thank you so much for your kind words and your hospitality. We're glad to have you as friends.

Just a simple Thursday

I went to St-Mary's to help Sabrina's teacher with his popcorn sale. It was really cool to see Sabrina interact with her friends not knowing that I was looking at her. Just like any other kid. Both Mathieu and Sabrina were happy to see me there. I was even able to see Mathieu at the school's library. He was walking around saying "I got this book", "I got this book", "I got this book"... We do have a lot of books at home.

Afterwards, Mathieu had karate, Sabrina went to daycare for an hour (she doesn't need to but she loves being with her friends).

He's a natural. I was told by his sensei's that he listens very well, and he's quite zen.

They got me at zen :)
